Very Good Things
- The random guy on the train who, after asking if I was reading “No Heroes, No Villains” for pleasure or law school, told me not to worry about the job market. Without any prompting from me, he said it may take a little time, but I’ll get a job, so don’t freak out.
- Taking Fitz to a new groomer who not only did an AWESOME job but cost about 40 bucks less than where I take him now.
- Being nice and not judgmental when the girl next to me in my New York Practice class asked me if I got the 3G model of the iPad 2. When I explained that I’m usually never in a place that doesn’t have wifi and so I couldn’t rationalize spending the extra money plus the monthly fee, she asked if that gets to be an issue with my keyboard. She didn’t understand that there’s difference between bluetooth and wifi. But I didn’t roll my eyes (at least externally) or answer her snark-ily.
- Having no classes today (Monday) because the transit system is all screwed up from Irene.
- Irene not being as apocalyptic in NYC as people thought.
- Maybe not most important, but Kiwis!
- This scary-ass Korean cartoon.
- Going to my friend’s Iftar and seeing friends I haven’t seen all summer.
